S2S Global Glove Innovation Forum March 2024

On March 19, Premier members from various regions of the country met in Charlotte, North Carolina, to partake in S2S Global’s inaugural Glove Innovation Forum. Attendees delved into comprehensive discussions on the intricacies of the glove manufacturing process, gaining firsthand insights into the production journey from raw materials to the final retail stage. The primary objective of the forum was to afford end-users the opportunity to assess and provide feedback on prospective glove variants, thereby facilitating the development of our forthcoming line of exam gloves.

Our esteemed guests from across the globe presented on a multitude of different topics including the development of ASTM guidelines with President of Truscott MedSci Associates, Dr. Wava Truscott. Our manufacturing partners addressed the environmental ramifications associated with the production of medical-grade examination gloves and how we are working together to create more sustainable practices with future innovations. Attendees were afforded the opportunity to gain insights into the manufacturing procedures of gloves in offshore facilities, as well as the complex processes involved in bringing each glove to the market.

S2S Global is putting the end-user in the driver’s seat when innovating the future of critically needed medical supplies. With their evaluations and feedback, S2S Global plans to include member feedback and suggestions in the development of their newest addition to the already wide range of available exam gloves. By including the end-users in the initial innovation process, S2S strives to source critical PPE for the members, by the members.
